A LEEDS United star’s Land Rover has crashed into a police car outside the club’s stadium ahead of their crucial play-off semi-final tonight.
A car belonging to Charlie Cresswell, 21, was involved in the smash outside Elland Road just hours before his side take on Norwich.

Pictures from the scene show a Land Rover Defender and a severely damaged West Yorkshire Police patrol car.
The crash took place as players were set to report to the ground this morning ahead of the crunch second-leg.
Emergency services attended the scene, near to the club ticket office, shortly before 10.15am.
Police confirmed an officer suffered minor injuries in the crash.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police added: “At 10.13am today (Thursday), police were notified of a collision involving a police car and a Land Rover Defender on Elland Road, Leeds.
“An officer received medical treatment for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.”
The force says enquiries were “ongoing” into the circumstances of the collision.
It comes as Leeds prepare for their biggest game of the season tonight, with a chance to play at Wembley and keep their hopes for a League return alive.
A scoreless first leg in Norwich has set up a crunch second leg in Leeds with both teams looking to grab a guaranteed spot in the Prem.
Leeds had one goal controversially disallowed after a Junior Firpo score was ruled offside.
The Peacocks are now favourites to get the job done at Elland Road on Thursday night after having a dismal away record this season.
Preston-born Cresswell has been a regular substitute for Daniel Farke’s side, but has found minutes on the pitch hard to come by.

The footballer was part of the England U21 squad which won the 2023 European Under-21 Championship.

Two arrested after ‘Leeds United fan slashed’ outside stadium after Norwich City match

TWO people were arrested after a Leeds fan was reportedly slashed outside Norwich City’s ground.
A Leeds fan in his sixties was attacked outside Carrow Road after this afternoon’s Championship play-off semi final.
The man was reportedly punched and suffered a cut to his chin when an object was thrown at him.
He was seen by paramedics at the scene and did not require further medical treatment.
A man in his late teens was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault GBH and taken into custody for questioning.
Another man in his fifties was also arrested at the scene on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.
